Best Platform to Sell Online Courses in India (2026)

The best platform to sell online courses in India depends on your yearly sales. For a creator selling recorded courses to their own audience, Peerseek's flat 5% with no yearly fee costs ₹10,000 on ₹2 lakh of sales. That is the lowest total of any platform that publishes its rates, until sales pass about ₹19 lakh a year.

Transparency note: Peerseek is our platform, and this guide is for creators, teachers and coaches in India who sell recorded courses to their own audience. Every competitor figure comes from that platform's own pricing page, linked in the sources section with the date we read it, and the same maths is used for every platform. Where a platform does not publish a number, we say so instead of guessing. Last updated 9 October 2026.

What is an online course platform? An online course platform is software that hosts a creator's lessons, takes payment from students and delivers the course. Unlike a marketplace that lists many creators' courses, it lets you sell to your own audience. In India, platforms differ most in how they charge: a yearly fee, a cut of each sale, or both.

Key takeaways

  • Among platforms that publish their rates, Peerseek's flat 5% (payment processing included, no yearly fee) is the cheapest way to sell a course until yearly sales pass about ₹19.4 lakh: ₹10,000 on ₹2 lakh, ₹50,000 on ₹10 lakh, ₹2,50,000 on ₹50 lakh.
  • "0% commission" is not free. Learnyst lists 0% transaction fees, but its cheapest plan billed annually is ₹97,188 a year plus taxes, which is about 49% of ₹2 lakh of sales.
  • Exly's free plan does not list a recorded-course LMS. Hosting a recorded course there starts at ₹30,000 a year plus 6% per sale.
  • TagMango's free plan takes 10% and stops at 200 students. Graphy's lowest published cut, 5% on its ₹99,999 Rise plan, is what Peerseek charges with nothing added.
  • Classplus publishes an upfront price but no per-sale rate, and Instamojo shows two different price lists on two of its own pages. Neither can be priced fairly from its own pages.

How much does each course platform in India cost per year?

We priced one ₹2,000 recorded course at three yearly sales levels. For each platform we took the cheapest listed plan that can host a recorded course and fit the number of students, then added its yearly fee to its cut of sales. Listed prices only: we added no GST that a platform did not state, and no gateway fee that a platform did not publish.

Line chart of yearly platform cost against yearly course sales for Peerseek, TagMango, Exly, Graphy, Learnyst and Classplus
Yearly cost of selling a ₹2,000 recorded course on each platform, from ₹0 to ₹60 lakh of sales. Peerseek's flat 5% line stays lowest among published rates until about ₹19 lakh, where Learnyst's fixed fee becomes cheaper. Prices read 3 and 9 October 2026.

Three notes on the table. TagMango's Basic plan stops at 200 students, so at ₹10 lakh of sales (500 students at ₹2,000 each) the cheapest eligible plan is Pro. Learnyst's figure is the plan price only: its page says transaction fees are 0% and that you integrate your own payment gateway, but it does not say what the gateway charges, so the real total is higher. For Classplus, the figure is only the upfront price, because its pages do not publish a per-sale rate.

In short: on ₹2 lakh of yearly course sales, Peerseek costs ₹10,000, TagMango Basic ₹20,000, Exly Pro ₹42,000, Graphy Launch ₹44,999 and Learnyst's cheapest annual plan ₹97,188, using each platform's own listed prices read on 3 and 9 October 2026.

Which course platforms charge no commission, and what do they cost instead?

Search for the best course platform in India and you will see Learnyst advertise "0% revenue sharing", and a Reddit thread asking for a platform without marketplace commissions. A platform with no commission usually charges a fixed fee instead, and the fixed fee is paid whether or not you sell.

Learnyst advertises 0% revenue sharing, but its cheapest annual plan costs ₹97,188 a year plus taxes (learnyst.com/pricing, read 9 October 2026). Its pricing page lists Professional at ₹8,999 a month billed monthly, or ₹8,099 a month billed annually. Premium is ₹14,999 or ₹13,499, and Business is ₹49,999 or ₹44,999, all plus taxes. Billed annually, Professional is ₹97,188 a year. On ₹2 lakh of sales that is about 49% of your revenue before you add your gateway's charges, and it only drops below Peerseek's flat 5% once yearly sales pass about ₹19.4 lakh.

Classplus also publishes no per-sale rate: its yearly fee is the only figure on its pages. Instamojo is an online store builder with different price lists on different pages, covered below. If a platform says 0% commission, ask what the yearly fee is, who pays gateway charges, and how many students it allows.

Is there a free platform to sell online courses in India?

Yes, with limits. Four online course selling platforms in India have a free way in:

  • Peerseek: free to start, no yearly fee, 5% per sale with payment processing included, no student limit.
  • TagMango Basic: ₹0 a year at 10% per sale, capped at 200 students and 20 GB of uploads. The Indian gateway is included in the 10%.
  • Exly Starter: free at 10% per sale, but its pricing page lists the recorded-course LMS from Pro (₹30,000 a year) upwards, so a free Exly account cannot host a recorded course.
  • Instamojo Lite: ₹0 a year for an online store at 5% + ₹3 per transaction, plus GST. Instamojo builds stores rather than a course player.

For a creator selling recorded courses to their own audience, the free options that host a course are Peerseek and TagMango Basic, and TagMango's takes twice the cut.

What does each platform charge?

Peerseek

Peerseek has one plan for everyone: ₹0 upfront, no subscription, and 5% of each sale with payment processing included. Nothing is added at payout. Your course sits on your own Peerseek page, next to your 1:1 consultations, webinars and digital products. Source: peerseek.io/sell-online-courses, read 3 October 2026.

TagMango

TagMango's Basic plan is free, takes 10% per sale and caps you at 200 students and 20 GB of uploads. Pro is ₹5,000 + GST a month at 5.5%, Advanced is ₹15,000 + GST a month at 3.5%, and Ultimate is ₹30,000 + GST a month with 0% commission plus gateway charges. On the first three plans the Indian gateway is included in the commission. TagMango's page also mentions a Freedom Setup fee of ₹24,999 + GST a year, described as the setup you pay before choosing a plan, so confirm with TagMango whether Basic needs it. Source: tagmango.com/pricing, read 3 October 2026.

Exly

Exly's Starter plan is free at 10% per sale, but its pricing page lists the built-in recorded-course LMS from Pro upwards. Pro is ₹30,000 a year at 6% (or ₹3,000 a month billed quarterly), and Premium is ₹1,08,000 a year at 3%. The page does not say who pays payment processing. Source: exlyapp.com/pricing, with the quarterly and yearly toggles both read on 3 October 2026.

Graphy

Graphy charges a yearly fee and a per-sale cut on every plan: Launch is ₹24,999 a year at 10%, Grow is ₹49,999 at 7.5%, and Rise is ₹99,999 at 5%, each with a ₹10 minimum per sale. Every paid plan includes a branded Android app and DRM protection. The page does not say who pays processing. Source: graphy.com/pricing, read 3 October 2026.

Learnyst

Learnyst lists three plans, Professional, Premium and Business, with the prices above, all plus taxes. The page lists 0% transaction fees and Payment Gateway Integration, without saying what the gateway charges. Premium adds a branded Android app and white labelling, and Professional lists automated certificates. Source: learnyst.com/pricing, monthly and annual toggles both read on 9 October 2026.

Classplus

Classplus shows different prices on different websites. classplusforcreators.co lists Starter at ₹19,999 for one year, exclusive of GST, with every button booking a demo. classplusapp.com/new-web sells a one-year plan at ₹29,999. monthly.classplusapp.com advertises ₹1,000 a month as a limited-period offer. classplusapp.com/pricing returns a 404. None of these pages publishes a per-sale rate. We have a longer breakdown in Classplus pricing in 2026. Sources: the three Classplus sites above, read 3 October 2026.

Instamojo

Instamojo's Online Store pricing page lists Lite at ₹0 a year, Starter at ₹6,999 and Growth at ₹14,999, with transaction fees of 5% + ₹3, 5% + ₹3 and 2% + ₹3, and GST in addition. Its sell-courses page lists different yearly prices instead: ₹0, ₹3,999 and ₹9,999. Because the two pages disagree and Instamojo builds stores rather than a course player, we left it out of the cost table. At what yearly sales does a fixed-fee plan beat a flat 5%?

A fixed-fee plan costs more than a flat 5% until your sales are high enough that its lower percentage saves more than its yearly fee. These are the plans with a cut below 5%, and where each one crosses over:

PlanYearly feeCutCheaper than a flat 5% above
Learnyst Professional (billed annually)₹97,188 + taxes0%, plus your gateway's charges₹19.4 lakh a year, and higher once gateway charges are counted
Exly Premium₹1,08,0003%₹54 lakh a year
TagMango Ultimate₹3,60,000 + GST0%, plus gateway chargesabout ₹1.03 crore a year
TagMango Advanced₹1,80,000 + GST3.5%₹1.2 crore a year
Classplus 1-year Starter₹19,999 + GSTNot published₹4 lakh a year, only if it charges no per-sale fee

Every other published plan has a cut of 5% or more, so it costs more than a flat 5% at every sales level. At ₹19.4 lakh of yearly sales you are selling about 970 courses at ₹2,000, which is a business well past the first year. Until then, a yearly fee is a bet that you will sell enough to cover it.

When is another platform the better choice?

Each of these platforms is built for a different job. Classplus is built for coaching institutes that want a branded Android app, daily live batches and a test portal. Graphy bundles a branded app, unlimited live classes, a custom domain and marketing emails into a yearly plan. TagMango is built for paid communities with gamification, affiliates and large Zoom webinars. Exly is built around WhatsApp and email follow-up automation. Learnyst lists batches, mock tests and test series on Professional, and a white-labelled branded Android app on Premium.

If you need one of those bundles, its yearly fee is paying for something you will use. If you are one educator selling recorded courses to your own audience, Peerseek gets you selling for ₹0, with the same encrypted video, quizzes and certificates, and you pay 5% only when a student buys.

How do you choose a course platform in India?

  1. Estimate your yearly sales: students multiplied by your price. Use the table above to find your row.
  2. Ask what you pay before the first sale. A yearly fee is paid whether or not you sell.
  3. Ask who pays payment processing. Only TagMango and Peerseek say it is included in the commission, and Learnyst leaves gateway charges to you.
  4. Ask what the free plan can actually host. Exly's free plan does not list recorded courses, and TagMango's free plan stops at 200 students.
  5. Ask for the per-sale rate in writing if it is not on the pricing page. Classplus does not publish one.

Which platform fits which creator, in one line each:

  • Selling recorded courses to your own audience, under about ₹19 lakh a year: Peerseek, at a flat 5% with ₹0 upfront.
  • Running a coaching institute with a branded app and live batches: Classplus or Graphy, whose yearly fees pay for those tools.
  • Building a paid community with gamification and large Zoom webinars: TagMango.
  • Following up leads with WhatsApp and email automation: Exly.
  • Selling above about ₹19 lakh a year and wanting no per-sale cut: Learnyst's fixed fee starts to win, before your gateway's charges.

Run your own numbers with the creator fee calculator, or read the full course platform comparison. If you decide on a flat 5% with ₹0 upfront, you can create your first course free on Peerseek. Side-by-side pages are also available for Classplus, Graphy, Exly and TagMango, and our older guide to selling a course without a subscription covers the first-course basics.

Course bechne ke liye sabse sasta platform kaunsa hai?

Agar aap pehli baar course bech rahe hain, to Peerseek sabse sasta hai: koi yearly fee nahi, sirf har sale par flat 5%, aur payment processing usi mein included. ₹2 lakh ki sale par ₹10,000 lagte hain. Learnyst "0% commission" kehta hai, lekin uska sabse sasta annual plan ₹97,188 saal ka hai. Graphy, Exly aur TagMango mein pehle yearly ya monthly fee deni padti hai, aur Classplus apni per-sale fee publish hi nahi karta.
