Your nutrition practice, paid before the plan goes out.
Most Indian nutritionists run their practice across WhatsApp, Google Forms and UPI screenshots, and lose money to clients who stop paying mid-programme. Peerseek puts consultations, 1 to 6 month programmes, 21-day challenges, courses and diet plan PDFs on one page, collects intake before the first call, and takes payment upfront.

The plan is the easy part. Getting paid isn’t.
None of this is about your nutrition knowledge. It is what happens when a practice runs on chat threads and trust, with nothing in between to hold either.
Clients ghost on the second instalment
A freelance nutritionist on Reddit put the number at close to ₹2 lakh lost to clients who stopped paying mid-programme. Her fix, in her own words: "Now I take my payments upfront."
Followers count for more than a degree
A dietitian's husband described the frustration on Reddit: nobody asks about qualifications, only follower counts, and people would rather try a fad diet than pay a professional.
A practice spread across five apps
Enquiries on WhatsApp, intake on Google Forms, progress in Excel, plans as loose PDFs and payment by UPI screenshot. Every new client means stitching the same pieces together again.
Buyers who have been burned before
"Paid ₹30,000 for a diet program, received no actual plan," reads one Indian fitness thread. Every client who lands on your link has read stories like that, and needs a reason to trust you first.
Everything nutritionists can sell from one page.
Consultations and monthly programmes

Set up the way the rules expect.
Five sets of rules touch a nutritionist selling online in India: ASCI’s influencer code, the consumer affairs ministry’s health guidelines, the NCAHP Act, the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act and FSSAI’s claims rules. Here is what they mean for a page.
Lead with your qualification
ASCI's influencer code says health and nutrition posts need relevant qualifications, such as a certified nutritionist or dietitian, shown prominently and upfront. Put your degree and institution at the top of your page, not in a footnote.
Show your RD number if you hold one
Registered Dietitians certified by the Indian Dietetic Association keep their RD numbers. IDA has announced that future accreditation moves to the Allied Health Council, so the number you already have is worth displaying.
Know where the law is heading
The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 lists both dietitians and nutritionists, and Section 57 fines anyone who uses the title without registration. State councils are still being set up, so registration is coming, not live.
Never sell a cure
The Drugs and Magic Remedies Act names diabetes and obesity among conditions no remedy may be advertised to cure, and food claims rules bar treat-or-cure claims. Sell a plan, a programme or guidance, never a reversal or 'lose 10 kg in 10 days'.
Work alongside the doctor
Diabetes, kidney disease, pregnancy and eating disorders need medical care as well as diet. Ask for conditions, medicines and reports at booking, and say on the listing that the programme runs alongside the client's doctor.
Disclose when you promote a product
The consumer affairs ministry's 2023 health guidelines ask health experts endorsing a product to disclose their credentials and encourage people to consult a healthcare professional. Keep paid recommendations visibly separate from your advice.

What one month adds up to.
Indian dietitians publish consultations at ₹500 to ₹3,000 and three-month programmes at ₹10,500 to ₹20,000. This is one month for a nutritionist who consults, runs one challenge and sells one plan, at the low end of those prices.
| Offering | In a month | Earned | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consultations | 15 at ₹800 | ₹12,000 | ₹11,400 |
| 3-month programmes | 4 at ₹10,500, paid upfront | ₹42,000 | ₹39,900 |
| 21-day challenge | 40 seats at ₹999 | ₹39,960 | ₹37,962 |
| 7-day meal plan (PDF) | 100 buyers at ₹99 | ₹9,900 | ₹9,405 |
| Total | Four offerings, one page | ₹1,03,860 | ₹98,667 |
“You keep” is after our flat 5% transaction fee, which includes payment processing. An illustration, not a forecast. Price ranges are those published by Indian dietitians and clinics on their own pages, read 3 October 2026.
Reports and history arrive before the call.
Attach a form to each consultation with the right field for each answer. Food preference is a choice, conditions and medicines are text, blood reports are an upload. No separate Google Form, and every answer stays attached to that client’s booking.
Typical intake for a first consultation
- Age, height and current weight
- Conditions such as PCOS, thyroid or diabetes, and current medicines
- Recent blood reports, uploaded at booking
- Food preference: veg, Jain, eggetarian or non-veg
- Allergies and foods they will not eat
- Daily routine: wake time, work hours, activity
- Their goal, in their own words
Who owns the client you brought?
You do. A follower who found you on Instagram and booked through your link is your client, not a lead for the next nutritionist in a list.
There is no nutritionist directory
You are not placed in a ranked list for a client to browse. No queue, no 'similar experts', no next available dietitian.
Hidden from search by default
New profiles are not discoverable on Peerseek search unless you switch it on yourself. A client reaches you through your link, from your channel.
You set every price
Consultations, programmes, challenges and plans are each priced by you and changed whenever you like. Nobody else decides what your expertise is worth.
We earn only when you earn.
Free to start. No upfront payment, no credit card, nothing to cancel later. There is no reason to pay for diet software before a single client has paid you.
The 5% covers payment processing too, so it is not a fee on top of a fee. What you see is what leaves your payout.

What a nutritionist website really costs in India.
A nutritionist's or dietitian's website in India costs about ₹1,800 to ₹10,800 a year if you build it yourself, or ₹8,750 to ₹64,850 plus GST from a web design agency, plus ₹15,000 or more a year to maintain. Peerseek builds a custom site on your own domain, with consultations, programmes, diet plans and UPI payments built in, for ₹999 a month, billed yearly.
Year one below means the build price plus the first year’s renewals and upkeep where listed. GST not added.
| Route | What it costs | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Build it yourself (Wix, Hostinger, Zoho Sites) | About ₹1,800 to ₹10,800 a year on common plans, plus your time | A template you design, write and keep updated yourself |
| Web design agencies | ₹8,750 to ₹64,850 to build, + 18% GST | A basic to fully custom design, with hosting renewal extra |
| Website maintenance contract | ₹15,000 to ₹36,000 a year | Updates and upkeep after launch, bought separately |
| Peerseek custom website | ₹999 a month, billed yearly at ₹11,988 | Custom design on your own domain, hosting and renewals, managed by us, and it sells sessions, courses and guides with UPI checkout built in |

Questions nutritionists ask.
How do nutritionists get clients in India?
Mostly through Instagram, referrals and doctors who refer patients. What converts is credibility shown upfront: your qualification at the top of your page, useful free content, and a clear way to book and pay. A free 7-day plan sent automatically to everyone who comments on a reel turns attention into a list of people who already know your work.
How much does a dietitian consultation cost in India?
Independent dietitians on public booking pages charge roughly ₹500 to ₹3,000 for an online consultation, with ₹600 to ₹1,000 most common. Monthly plans run about ₹3,800 to ₹8,000, three-month programmes ₹10,500 to ₹20,000, and specialist programmes ₹25,000 or more. Figures are prices published by Indian dietitians and clinics, read 3 October 2026.
How do I sell diet plans online in India?
List the plan as a digital product with a price, and buyers pay by UPI and get the PDF instantly. On Peerseek, each PDF is watermarked with the buyer's name and email, one plan can have up to four versions such as veg, Jain, eggetarian and non-veg, and you can give a 7-day plan away free so people get to know your work before they book.
How do I stop clients forwarding my diet plan PDF?
No PDF can be made impossible to share, but a watermark changes the incentive. Every PDF sold on Peerseek carries the buyer's name and email, so a forwarded copy shows exactly whose it was. Personalised plans written for one client are better sent as part of a consultation or programme than sold as a file.
Do I need to be a registered dietitian to sell diet plans?
Registration is not yet enforced nationwide. The NCAHP Act, 2021 lists dietitians and nutritionists and fines unregistered use of the title, but state councils are still being set up. ASCI's code already expects health and nutrition creators to hold relevant qualifications and show them upfront. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can I sell a 3-month programme as one payment?
Yes. Price the programme as one consultation offering, for example a 3-month programme at ₹10,500, and the client pays the full amount upfront when they book the first consultation. There are no instalments to chase and nothing to follow up on WhatsApp.
Is it free to start?
Yes. Creating your page, listing consultations, challenges and diet plans, and accepting payments are all free. No upfront payment, no credit card, no subscription and no setup cost. A flat 5% transaction fee applies only on what you earn, and it includes payment processing, so there is no separate gateway fee on top.
Will you show my clients other nutritionists?
No. There is no nutritionist directory that you are placed into, and new profiles are hidden from Peerseek search by default. A client who opens your link sees your page, your programmes and your prices, not a list to choose from.
